Victoria - On Friday August 14, 9:00pm, Open Space and CineVic Society of Independent Filmmakers will screen a selection of short experimental and educational 16mm films from the CineVic archives in Helmcken Alley.

CineVic’s annual Music+Film challenge. Filmmakers are given a song from a local independent artist and one month to create a film or video. Past screenings have run the gamut from straight forward music videos to animated films to short film that use the song as a soundtrack. This year we are following up the screenings with a super awesome dance party with DJ Grady Lawlor and VJ Love.
The evening will be hosted by Morgan Cranny (Atomic Vaudeville, War of 1812)
