Story to Screen w/ Claire Mulligan – SOLD OUT

January 29, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$25 – $35

THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW SOLD OUT!
We might run this workshop again later in the year. Please keep an eye on our website events page.

Find it annoying when your favourite story is made into a mediocre film? Think you can do better? You can. In this hands-on four-hour adaptation workshop we’ll look at the various kinds of adaptation (newspaper/magazine article, short stories, novels), the techniques, and challenges of adaptation. And then we’ll work together – writing room style – to adapt a story or two (likely Chekov) into a short film.

Sunday January 29, 2016
1:00pm -5:00pm
CineVic (#102 – 764 Yates Street)
$25 members, $35 non-members
